How we
use AI

Meevee matches your child to the shows that teach what they're learning

Meevee is a software subscription for families with children aged 2 to 6. Our AI matches each child with the shows that teach what they're working on right now, from letters and counting to feelings and sharing. It runs on our servers, in any browser at meevee.app or in our apps for iPhone, iPad, Android and Apple TV.

Here's how it works. A parent sets a milestone in their child's profile, like learning the alphabet. When the next session starts, Meevee's AI picks the episodes that teach letters and builds them in. Between shows there are short learning activities: puzzles for shapes and problem solving, a memory game for matching, and coloring and drawing for fine motor skills.

Fourteen days free, then monthly or yearly, cancel anytime.

Meevee in a web browser at meevee.app: a parent sets the milestone 'Learning the alphabet' in a child's profile, and Meevee's AI builds a session with a Baby Einstein episode that traces letters.
A parent picks a milestone. Meevee's AI finds the episodes that teach it and builds them into the session.

People choose the shows.
AI builds the session.

How a session gets built

People first. Every show on Meevee is licensed and reviewed by our team against early childhood research: pacing, how characters behave, whether the story closes. Nothing enters the catalog automatically, and there is nowhere for a child to browse out to.

Then the matching, from three things. Age sets what is suitable at all. Interests are the things your child is into, from their profile. Milestones are the learning goals a session is built around: counting, letters, colors, feelings, sharing, wherever your child is with them.

AI does that part. Every episode in the catalog is tagged with what it teaches. When a session begins, our AI reads your child's milestones and interests and picks the episodes that work on them. A child learning the alphabet gets episodes where letters are traced out one at a time. A child working on sharing gets stories about taking turns. This runs on our servers, as part of the Meevee service, each time a session begins.

What comes back is finite. A set of episodes and short activities in a sensible order, with a beginning, a middle and an end.

Mookee's voice

Mookee greets your child by name, says what is coming next, gives fair warning before the end, and walks them through the goodbye. AI writes those moments for the session and speaks them in Mookee's voice, which is why he can use your child's name and mention the show they just watched instead of playing the same clip to every child. Between videos there are short learning activities, like puzzles, a memory game and coloring, that build early skills such as matching, shapes and fine motor control.

Mookee is not a chatbot. He speaks at moments in the session we designed, and children can't type or talk to him.

What AI does here, and what it does not

Where What AI does What it does not do
Choosing the shows Nothing. Our team licenses every show and reviews it against early childhood research. AI never adds a show to the catalog, and it never makes one.
Building a session Matches your child's age, interests and milestones against what each episode teaches, then builds a session around them. It is not a feed. A session is finite, and it does not learn to keep your child watching.
What your child has watched Used so a session does not repeat what they saw yesterday. Not used to build a picture of your child, or to decide what to show more of.
Mookee's words Writes and speaks his welcome, the introductions, the warning before the end, and the goodbye. He is not a chatbot. Children can't type or talk to him.
Talking to a person Parents can chat with an assistant about session lengths, watching, and hard goodbyes. That sits behind the parent gate. Children do not have it.
Advertising Nothing. There are no ads on Meevee. No profiling for advertising, and we do not sell your data.

What you set

The profile is yours. Your child's age, the things they are into, the milestones you want to work on: change those and the sessions change with them. You also set how long each session runs, every time you start one. Full details are in our Privacy Statement, and the FAQ answers the questions we get most.
